Glacial boulders in and around the pond
More than two hundred boulders were excavated from the glacial clay during the pond build.
These were carefully placed in and around the pond's perimeter to provide valuable habitats for all kinds of pond flora & fauna.
Many boulders remain in-situ and submerged.
